Reflection

As I reflect on Quarter 3, I realize how much I've learned and discovered, particularly in the realm of programming and data structures. One of the most significant takeaways for me has been the deeper understanding of CBR (Case-Based Reasoning) , OL (Object-Oriented Learning) , and the concept of nested lists . Learning and Discoveries: Through studying CBR , I discovered how problem-solving can be approached by leveraging past experiences and cases, mimicking how humans solve problems. This concept helped me see the power of using historical data to predict and solve new problems. In the realm of Object-Oriented Learning (OL) , I grasped the importance of objects, classes, inheritance, and encapsulation in organizing and managing code in a more efficient way. This was a big leap in making my programming skills more structured and easier to understand. When it came to nested lists , I learned how to organize complex data within lists, allowing me to handle multi-dimensional data ...

New Memories

The Christmas season has always been my favorite time of the year, and this year was no different. My vacation was filled with moments of joy, family, and celebration that I will always cherish.  The highlight of my holiday was spending quality time with my family. We started the season by decorating our home with twinkling lights and a beautifully adorned Christmas tree. The scent of freshly baked cookies filled the air as we prepared treats to share with our loved ones. On Christmas Eve, we gathered together for a festive dinner, where laughter and stories made the night unforgettable.

Building the Web: A Reflection on the Power of HTML Tags Tags in HTML are like the building blocks of any webpage, the structure and how content displays on a browser in particular. They are truly important and I should reflect on why. From the simple tag `<p>` for paragraphs and down the complexities of tag `<div>` for containers, every tag has a specific role in the whole page functionality and presentation.

End Violence Against Women: A Call for Action

Image
End Violence Against Women: A Call for Action     Violence Against Women (VAW) is a grave issue that transcends borders, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses, affecting 1 in 3 women globally. In the Philippines, the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) revealed that nearly 1 in 5 women have experienced violence from their partners, underscoring the urgency of addressing this crisis.     The yearly 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, held every November 25 to December 12, serves as a platform to amplify awareness and advocate for women's rights and protection. Central to this campaign is the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (R.A. 9262) , which criminalizes acts of physical, sexual, psychological, and economic abuse against women and children. This law symbolizes a pivotal step in safeguarding women's dignity and well-being, ensuring perpetrators are held accountable.
