 As I reflect on Quarter 3, I realize how much I've learned and discovered, particularly in the realm of programming and data structures. One of the most significant takeaways for me has been the deeper understanding of CBR (Case-Based Reasoning) , OL (Object-Oriented Learning) , and the concept of nested lists . A New Adventure??     The start of a new year is the perfect opportunity to set clear goals that are both specific and achievable, guiding me toward personal growth and success. I will practice gratitude daily, reflecting on the blessings in my life to maintain a positive and optimistic mindset. Focusing on my health will be a priority by committing to regular exercise, balanced eating habits, and getting enough sleep to keep both my mind and body in top shape. To make the most of my time, I will improve my time management skills using planners and apps to organize my schedule effectively.  

     The Christmas season has always been my favorite time of the year, and this year was no different. My vacation was filled with moments of joy, family, and celebration that I will always cherish.  The highlight of my holiday was spending quality time with my family. We started the season by decorating our home with twinkling lights and a beautifully adorned Christmas tree. The scent of freshly baked cookies filled the air as we prepared treats to share with our loved ones. On Christmas Eve, we gathered together for a festive dinner, where laughter and stories made the night unforgettable.

  End Violence Against Women: A Call for Action     Violence Against Women (VAW) is a grave issue that transcends borders, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses, affecting 1 in 3 women globally. In the Philippines, the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) revealed that nearly 1 in 5 women have experienced violence from their partners, underscoring the urgency of addressing this crisis.     The yearly 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, held every November 25 to December 12, serves as a platform to amplify awareness and advocate for women's rights and protection. Central to this campaign is the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (R.A. 9262) , which criminalizes acts of physical, sexual, psychological, and economic abuse against women and children. This law symbolizes a pivotal step in safeguarding women's dignity and well-being, ensuring perpetrators are held accountable.

Elpidio Quirino: A Life of Service and Legacy      Elpidio Quirino, the sixth President of the Philippines, stands as a beacon of perseverance and public service. Born on November 16, 1890 , in Vigan, Ilocos Sur , Quirino rose from humble beginnings to hold the highest office in the land. His father, a warden, and his mother, a teacher, instilled in him the values of hard work and education. Despite financial difficulties, Quirino excelled in school and pursued higher education at the University of the Philippines, earning a degree in law in 1915. Shortly after, he passed the bar and began his journey as a public servant.

 Indegenous Peoples Month: Honoring Heritage, Advocacy for Rights      Indigenous Peoples Month is celebrated among all Indigenous Peoples in the Philippines during October. This year, the observance runs from October 1 to October 30, commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) with the theme “Mga Katutubo at Katutubong Dunong: Pangalagaan, Parangalanan, at Pahalagahan.” It means “Valuing, Nurturing, Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Knowledge.” This theme acknowledges and the significance of acknowledging and respecting the richness and heritage of traditional knowledge and the cultural heritage of Indigenous communities, all too often disregarded or neglected by the norm.

Climate Change and the Resiliency of Filipinos The Philippines, a country of vibrant ecosystems and diverse cultures, is no stranger to the devastating effects of climate change. Rising global temperatures, intensified typhoons, unpredictable weather patterns, and rising sea levels have drastically altered the way many Filipinos live. These environmental changes, whether sudden or progressive, threaten not only the country’s natural resources but also the lives and livelihoods of millions.  

Insight on the 2024 National Children's Month Celebration The 2024 National Children's Month Celebration carries a resounding message for the protection and welfare of Filipino children. With the theme, *“Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,”* it emphasizes the urgency of addressing violence and abuse against children in every form. This theme serves as a clarion call for government agencies, communities, and families to work collaboratively in creating a nurturing and secure environment where children can thrive.  

National Clean-Up Month and World Clean  and Green Week T he fact that we are now celebrating National Clean-Up Month and World Clean and Green Week tells us that being a green country is something we have to do together. The natural disasters around the world are not exceptions all the time but we can never say it is not possible that these natural disaster happens but instead we can say that with our actions these natural disaster can be mitigated. We contribute to the prevention of disasters and in the good health of the ecosystem through cultivating an environmentally conscious living and leading communities towards clean up and conservation. So this is a reminder that small actions, if enough of them combined, can really make a huge difference in the environmental protection that future generations need.

     What I have gained through my academic journey can greatly explains the different subjects I am taking so far, the discoveries / lessons have changed my understanding of each subject I study. All of this is how I have found myself aware that I hold the capabilities to function more effectively in school but it requires me to focus harder and push myself to pursue my studies more. The key that I’ve found is what I’ve come to call time management. I’ve found that this skill has become an essential skill I master, because I no longer need to go through additional useless problems when completing my academic tasks. Sometime things became a real challenge for me if there are so many pending tasks to accomplish but then I handle better time management, I am able to organize and complete my task smoothly without that unnecessary pressure. Dear President Marcos,        I want to thank you for your services for our nation and realize that it is not always fun to be a director. Still, I have some concerns that some of your decisions may not be for the best interest of all Filipinos. I really just wish that more could speak out. One cannot overemphasize the need for such a person to be our leader because this person must be ready to listen to everyone.       Unfortunately, the Philippines has been confronted with numerous natural and economic risks which require both fitness and flexibility. Although economical, the country is vulnerable to natural disasters including typhoons, earthquakes and volcanic activities because it lies in the Pacific Ring of Fire. These disasters result in the collapse of structures, people being forced out of their homes, and increasing pressure on the economy. Adding to these disadvantages, climate change impacts such as; water shorelines and enhanced climate volatility add on the list of weaknesses. Apart from natural disasters there are socio-political factors including poverty, corruption and poor infrastructure that slow down the nation’s development in one way or the other.
